Shoe Carnival & Shoe Station
With my time at Shoe Carnival had the privilege to work with one of America’s top family shoe retailers. I was part of a team that lead the design and production of marketing emails, homepage layouts, social media posts and in-store animated promo screens. We worked with major athletic and life style brands like Nike, Adidas, Crocs, Heydude, and Birkenstock.
Social Media Graphics
Video is something that I leveraged a bit in my social media posts, and was an outlet to increase proficiency in editing tools like Adobe After Effects and Capcut! In an industry that requires the production of so much marketing collateral as retail, it was important for me to take a bit of time when available to make posts that still sparked some excitement and energy. Particularly with the athletic brands, it was always a goal to make every shoe featured to feel lively.
email Layouts
Much of the day to day at Shoe Carnival/Shoe Station was creating digital email layouts for E-Commerce. These design pieces include various product features and sales of shoes and accessories displayed in a way to tell a cohesive story and sales messaging. All of these emails are build in Figma, but supplementary tools include Photoshop, After Effects, assistance from our photography team, and generative AI tools such as Gemini and Midjourney. These emails are created in a pretty high volume so every project is a practice in adaptability and mastery of the tools.
